Evelyn Delgado, as lightpirate, is an interdisciplinary artist originally from Costa Rica. She creates live visual performances that explore play, learning, and miscommunication to examine systems of belonging. Using liquid lights, projections, and animation, her work invites audiences into shared moments of awe, curiosity, and reflection. Her practice is rooted in collaboration, experimentation, and live performance. She holds a Fine Arts degree in Art Education from Concordia University and a Master’s in Adult Learning, which inform both her creative and pedagogical approaches. Based in Calgary, Alberta, she continues to expand her work across performance, installation, and educational contexts.
