Kenzie Housego and Devin Giles first teamed up to create “Ghost Cruiser” , a mobile multimedia sculpture on a bicycle! Featuring a retro TV set this piece displays a version of the 1800s Pepper’s Ghost illusion, essentially an analog hologram.
Their latest moving artwork “Pepper’s Radio Flyer” further blends analog, digital, past, and futuristic technology, using a reclaimed retro radio, cutting-edge LED technology all mounted on a tricycle.
Pepper’s Radio Flyer”, alongside “Ghost Cruiser” will move throughout the Chinook Blast Festival, stopping at main hub locations to engage with the public. The artwork is both nostalgic and exploratory, infused with humor, and playfulness, creating moments of interactive spectacle.
