Special presentation by Mexican Singer Pat Cuikani. Pat is a light lyrical soprano original from Mexico City. She will perform a special presentation as part of Chinook Blast 2024. ELEMENTO LATIN BAND. Elemento is a 5 element band that will be presenting Rock Pop from the 80’s and 90’s in Spanish. La Calavera de Frida is a versatile band that will be performing music in English and Spanish to make people dance and sign.

Bio
Pat Cuikani, light lyrical soprano. Originally from Mexico City, she completed part of her studies with private teachers, at the Free School of Music and is a graduate of the Diocesan Higher School of Sacred Music of Toluca, as Concert Singer. Performs various genres

in several languages, such as English, Italian French, German, Nahuatl, and Zapotec.

Her interest in music manifested itself from her early years. In their home, they heard, among many genres, trio music, classical, and opera, a genre that she fell in love with and motivated her to study bel canto formally. She has been invited to multiple festivals in Calgary, Canada, and has brought Mexican music to that country. She is co-founder of the folk metal band CABRAKAÄN, with which she has made various international tours, participating in festivals and offering concerts.

She is the lead vocalist and co-founder of the Fibonacci ensemble. With her solo project and with Fibonacci, Pat Cuikani has
presented on various stages and renowned festivals in Mexico and Canada.

La Calavera de Frida is a Latin music group which started in 2017. It is made up of musicians from different countries in Latin America: Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela and Peru. Throughout the years, the band has been invited to play at important local festivals and at private events.
