About

Frost and Found is an interactive sculpture of light and steel. From afar it is a beacon on a cold winter night, but once inside look up and be surrounded by falling snow. Reach the middle of the storm and look up at a large snowflake canopy framing the night sky. Take a moment to reflect, feel the air, see the lights, and be present.

Bio

Ryan and Matt have been building projects together in Calgary for nearly a decade. Our love for underground bass music led us to building the Yellow Dubmarine, a fire breathing, full featured night club in an old winnebago. Over the years we have added numerous large scale art projects to support our outdoor experience including the Bermuda Triangle, which is the inspiration for this project. These projects have been featured at Freezer Burn in Ponoka and Zen Garden locally here in Calgary. We have experience in planning, fabrication, lighting and audio integration, installation and logistics. This project is the successor to our previous Bermuda Triangle build. Bigger, more dense LEDs, and winter instead of nautical themed.
