Four Winds Indigenous Showcase brings together a combination of music, dance and culture that strives to create a connection between the Indigenous communities as well as to the greater urban community. We will bring together a collaboration of an extremely talented group of Indigenous artists from various musical and art genres on to the main stage.

The showcase will be hosted by seventeen year old fiddler Bryce Delorme and flautist Curt Young, they will open the show with a short acoustic performance including their flute, fiddle and guitars as well as introducing the performers in between each set and creating a fun, friendly, family atmosphere for the evening.
Other performers include:

• Toosick, a local hip hop artist who will take to the stage first and open the show with a collection of impactful cultural music. Toosick’s set will be DJ’d by the extremely talented DJ Nyla, a thirteen year old DJ based out of Saskatchewan who is taking over the Indigenous music scene.

• Juno nominated country and classic rock artist Armond Duckchief and his four piece band

• Powwow dance performance from Tootoosis Crew a family dance troupe including a Grass Dancer, Jingle Dress Dancer, Women’s Traditional Dancer, Women’s Fancy Shawl Dancers, a Hoop Dancer and a 22 month old Jingle Dress Dancer. The Powwow performance will include live drummers and singers as well as a cultural host to provide a land acknowledgement.

• 2022 Juno Winner for Traditional Indigenous Artist of the Year Fawn Wood and 5 time Indigenous Music Award winner Drezus will headline the showcase. Drezus will be performing a hip hop set with support from DJ Nyla and back up dancing provided by Tootoosis Crew and Fawn Wood will close the showcase with a beautiful contemporary performance of traditional Indigenous vocals accompanied by her hand drum.
