Beloved Alberta songwriters, Mariel Buckley and T. Buckley, join forces as The Buckleys for Family Day on Monday, February 19.

Family Day at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, has become an annual favourite for families, inspiring them to strengthen their bonds through the power of music. With lots of family-friendly performances and hands-on interactive activities, it promises to be a fun-filled day of music and connection.

Music presented on Family Day celebrates the diversity of our city and helps create a sense of belonging for all. Visitors can catch live music performances, special activations, such as an instrument petting zoo and demonstrations of the show-stopping Kimball Theatre Organ. 

All exhibition stages and performance areas at Studio Bell are accessible to all abilities, with elevators for ease of navigation, options for personalized sound and tactile experiences, areas to engage and areas for respite, and family-friendly washroom facilities. Visitors will also enjoy interacting with our exhibits in a range of visual, tactile, and auditory ways that bring music to life.
