The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre will host the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival 2025, which is aligned with our mission to share and educate the public about this traditional celebration. Although traditionally celebrated by the Chinese community, we hope to host an event that is educational and inclusive- available to the public regardless of individual age or cultural differences. The festival will showcase captivating activities such as dragon and lion dances, multicultural performances, an art exhibition, food vendors, games, and a marketplace. The Centre will have lantern and light decorations, promotional posters, food and merchant vendors, art showcases, and other educational items divulging Chinese history and culture.
