We’re bringing cozy back to RiverWalk in East Village with Hygge Hut. The Hygge Hut is a big warm East Village hug in the middle of a long, cold Calgary winter. Our contemporary, Scandinavian-style space is inspired by the Danish idea of Hygge, which means a special kind of well-being—it’s a cozy, easy togetherness enhanced by the glow of a firepit, soft lighting, a warm drink and good company. The snuggle vibe, in short.
Hygge Hut is winter’s favourite gathering place where you can shop the EV merch line-up, warm your hands around the fire pits, and watch the lights twinkle across the river. Use it as a meeting spot for your run group, or warm up after a trek on the East Village Nordic Loop.
